The public and registered Cordyceps (Ophiocordyceps sinensis) exporters are informed that the Department of Forests and Park Services (DoFPS) has taken over the mandate for facilitating Cordyceps exports from the Bhutan Food and Drug Authority (BFDA), in accordance with the Forest and Nature Conservation Act 2023 and the Forest and Nature Conservation Rules and Regulations, 2023 (Amendment 2025).
Accordingly, all relevant agencies are requested to consider export permits generated through the Online Forestry Service, which are issued after due verification by the concerned forestry staff.
