INVENTORY AND DATA MANAGEMENT UNIT
Roles:
- The information and data bank of the park
- The focal Unit for GIS and remote sensing
- The direct counterpart of the Forestry Information System (FIMS), DoF
- Focal unit for monitoring and evaluation of park activities
- Lead role in park newsletter and brochure publication
Responsibilities:
- Create a Park Based Information System (PBIS) that will serve as the database of the park
- Analyze the relevant information about the park management from the compiled data
- Should update the GIS & Remote Sensing information about the park
- Submit reports and information as and when needed by FIMS and other agencies
- Monitor the progress and status of activities implemented by the park using ASMEP and other programs
- Coordinate the Quarterly Internal Coordination Meetings and inform the Units and PROs in advance
