The Divisional Forest Office, PemaGatshel, notifies all interested and eligible bidders with a valid logging license that an open auction for risk-posing trees will be held on 25th February 2026 (Wednesday) on an “as is where is” basis. The auction will take place at the PemaGatshel Range Office and will start at 10:30 AM. The auction includes 1 no. of Schima wallichii (Zalashing) at Choongkhar Lhakhang under Zobel Gewog, with an estimated log volume of 5.64 cubic feet and 44 nos. of Pinus wallichiana (Chang shing) at the same location, with an estimated log volume of 1073.06 cubic feet.
At the time of registration, bidders are required to deposit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Nu. 5,000.00 (five thousand) in the form of a demand draft drawn in favor of the Chief Forestry Officer, PemaGatshel Division. The EMD of all unsuccessful bidders will be refunded immediately after the conclusion of the auction. However, the EMD submitted by the successful bidder shall be held by the office until the full bid value has been deposited in accordance with auction requirements.
