The Phrumsengla National Park, Ura, Bumthang, is pleased to inform and invite all interested individuals/parties holding a valid logging license to participate in an open auction for the extraction of bark beetle-infested spruce timber and firewood from three identified blocks located at Wangthang under Ura Gewog, Bumthang. The available forest produce is distributed across the three blocks, wherein Block 1, Lerigang (LG), comprises 37,915.36 cubic feet (cft) of timber and 36,970.58 cft of firewood; Block 2, Lower Wangthang (LW), contains a comparatively larger volume with 196,088.6 cft of timber and 38,261.4 cft of firewood; and Block 3, Upper Wangthang, includes 59,969.7 cft of timber along with 82,858.5 cft of firewood. The auction is scheduled to take place on 20th April 2026 (Monday) at 10:00 AM at the Phrumsengla National Park Office, Ura, Bumthang. All interested bidders are encouraged to visit and inspect the timber at the respective sites during office hours prior to the auction date to assess the volume and condition of the materials.
