The Department of Forests and Park Services is conducting a workshop on the development of the Annual Forestry Statistics (AFS) 2025 and the finalization of data for the estimation of Bhutan for Life mitigation impact. The workshop is being held from 25 February to 4 March 2026 in Punakha.
The workshop brings together data managers from 24 field offices, focal officials from functional divisions and the Policy and Planning Division of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.

Participants will validate and finalize data compiled through the Forest Information Reporting and Monitoring System, and review progress and achievements of the Department’s plans, programmes, and activities implemented in 2025 to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accountability in reporting.
The workshop is organized by the Forest Monitoring and Information Division with funding support from Bhutan for Life Project under the DoFPS.
