Having been selected through Bhutan Civil Service Examination, 2022, two new Forestry Officers joined the Department of Forests and Park Services, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
Ms. Tshering Peldon and Mr. Sonam Tshering are both graduates of College of Natural Resources (CNR), Lobesa with Bachelors of Science in Forestry (B.Sc. Forestry).
They are currently being oriented to different programmes at Functional Divisions. They will also undergo foundational in-service training at Royal Institute of Management (RIM).
Tshering Peldon will go on to join Divisional Forest Office, Samtse while Sonam Tshering will join Jomotshangkha Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Department welcome them and wishes them best in their career ahead. It is expected they will serve with their best dedications and commitments towards sustaining Bhutan’s forest resources & biodiversity for the happiness of present and future generations.
