Video of Asian Elephant movement in Jomotsangkha Wildlife Sanctuary

Asian Elephant (Elephas maximus) move from one place to another in search of food and water. They spent around 18-20 hours foraging and eating. They eat around 150kgs and drinks unto 200 liters of water in a day. They are ecosystem engineers. They make pathways in dense forested habitat that allow passage of tiger animals. Thus, they are known as ecosystem engineers.
IUCN redlist status: ENDANGERED
